As the title explains, i today gave assistance to a dedicated cordia turbo owner, liker myself. This person is a long time friend i met after i sold him a item on ebay 1-2 years ago.
Being a race car driver, obviously a cordia turbo, his choice of motorsport is circuit racing, super sprint style.
Today, i had no clue of any racing meets or events in the old eastern creek circuit, so i just drove there to see whats happening etc. The wsid had like a big top fueler type drag meet, eastern creek had the super sprint etc.
I was happy, cos i always check out whats happening ath teh old creek circuit. Anyway, there i am, walking the pits when i came across my old time friend.
Had a bit of a chat, seeing how he is going and the racing etc, all is going well, but later mentioned that his car wouldnt start, he mentioned it happend whilst racing, so yeah, I asked him my very basic questions like when did it happen, what is the engine doing etc So i just checked a few things, basically, the engine would start, then die in like 1 or 2 seconds etc.
i just lloked at a few things, than there i go again, i got it started.
Big relif for him, cos he was just about to tow it outside and call the nrma etc.
Well, i was happy aswell, cos i saved a race car driver time big time. imagine this happend whilst st the start of the meet etc. Anyway, he was very happy cos it started again, as i was too. i dont mind halping out.
if there happy, im happy. usually the ending is always happy when im around.
I felt like a real pit crew mechanic technition etc. By the way this is like 3;30-400pm in the afternoon.
I will be back again, and this time with my camera and ill get some footage of him in future, when i can.
